📌 How to Use the DBATU SGPA & CGPA Calculator
📊 Steps to Calculate SGPA
1️⃣ Write the number of subjects in the semester for which you want to calculate SGPA
2️⃣ Enter the credits and select the corresponding grade for each subject.
3️⃣ Click the "Calculate SGPA" button to get your Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA).
📝 SGPA Calculation Formula
SGPA = (Sum of (Credit × Grade Point) for all subjects) / (Sum of Total Credits)
🎯 Example for SGPA Calculation (As per DBATU Grading System)
Consider a student with 5 subjects and the following details:
- 📌 Subject 1: Credits = 3, Grade = AA (9.0)
- 📌 Subject 2: Credits = 4, Grade = BB (8.0)
- 📌 Subject 3: Credits = 3, Grade = BC (7.5)
- 📌 Subject 4: Credits = 3, Grade = AB (8.5)
- 📌 Subject 5: Credits = 2, Grade = CC (7.0)
Total Grade Points = (3×9.0) + (4×8.0) + (3×7.5) + (3×8.5) + (2×7.0) = 121
Total Credits = 3 + 4 + 3 + 3 + 2 = 15
✅ SGPA = 121 / 15 = 8.07
📈 Steps to Calculate CGPA
1️⃣ Enter the number of semesters you have completed.
2️⃣ Enter the SGPA and total credits earned in each semester.
3️⃣ Click the "Calculate CGPA" button to get your Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
🔢 CGPA Calculation Formula
CGPA = (Sum of (SGPA × Semester Credits) for all semesters) / (Sum of Total Credits)
📌 Example for CGPA Calculation
Consider a student who has completed 3 semesters with the following SGPA and credits:
- 🎓 Semester 1: SGPA = 8.0, Credits = 20
- 🎓 Semester 2: SGPA = 7.5, Credits = 22
- 🎓 Semester 3: SGPA = 8.2, Credits = 21
Total Weighted SGPA = (8.0×20) + (7.5×22) + (8.2×21) = 497.2
Total Credits = 20 + 22 + 21 = 63
✅ CGPA = 497.2 / 63 = 7.89
